Huawei exchanged technology information with partner organizations working together in Ethiopia

 Monday, June 20, 2014 (New Morning) Chinese technology company Huawei Technology Group; Today, Hilton Hotel held a program to introduce and recognize the level of technology the company has reached with its partner organizations and institutions in Ethiopia.

Huawei Technology's 2022 Ethiopian Partnership Program Minister of State for Innovation and Technology Huria Ali, senior executives of Huawei Technology Group, the company's domestic partners and institutions were present.

Huria Ali, Minister of State for Innovation and Technology, who opened the forum with a speech, said; By bringing the best technological practices in the world to our country, Huawei is contributing to the realization of Ethiopia's Digital Strategy 2025.

The Minister of State reminded that the company has recently made the 5G network a reality together with Ethio Telecom; He said that it is supporting our efforts to build the digital economy by building many infrastructures, creating job opportunities and importing smart technology products.

"When we say we are going to build a digital Ethiopia, we are not only working with local institutions," Huria said.

On his part, the Deputy Executive Director of Hawawi Ethiopia, Kowin Sawo; He explained that Huawei Technology is working with 158 local partners in Ethiopia. He said that 3 thousand 700 citizens have been created job opportunities.
